Experience

GIRRAPHIC-XLAB

• Led a team in design and development of operator software for remotely controlling Unreal Engine nDisplay clusters, enabling live-to-air modification and deployment of AR graphics. NodeJS/React/C++.

• Worked with artists to develop a pipeline for creating AR graphics in Unreal Engine, shortening production times. Wrote pipeline tools for validating graphics, reducing QA workload while increasing reliability.
• Wrote C++ service to ingest camera tracking data in real time, incorporating a custom lens distortion handler for rendering the virtual camera. Eliminated the need to calibrate cameras on-set multiple times.
• Developed C++ back-end for real-time visualisation of geospatial weather datasets. Developed runtime geometry generation, raymarched volumetrics and a dynamic georeferencing system for aligning datasets.
• Introduced formal release processes, code reviews and automated testing, minimising regressions while maintaining development cadence. Trained art team on version control and new processes.
